Welcome to the Kuyahoora Lodge & Resort
Summer in The Adirondacks

The Kuyahoora Lodge & Resort is located in the foothills of the Adirondacks on Hinckley Lake, NY. Our guests enjoy many recreational activities on our grounds which include boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, biking and nature walks on our 5 miles of walking trails.

Originally dammed to supply water to the Erie Canal, the lake provides a water supply to the greater Utica & New York area.

There is something about the Adirondacks that is an invitation to escape. An opportunity to seek where adventure and the natural world join into the memorable moments that make a truly unforgettable experience.

Did you know the word vacation actually comes from the Adirondacks? People have been escaping to this area for more than a hundred years in the summer to exchange the humid heat of the city for the fresh mountain air. They vacated or fled the city and with that came about the word "vacation."
